TO: All Boardriders Suppliers
Boardriders, Inc. (“Boardriders”) is dedicated to the sourcing of materials and manufacturing of our
products in a manner that is in accordance with the highest ethical and legal standards. In furtherance
of these standards, we expect our vendors to cooperate with us to ensure that metals and other minerals
contained in our products are obtained, produced, and used in an environmentally and socially
responsible manner and are not sourced in ways that contribute to human rights abuses.
Boardriders is committed to complying with the U.S. Dodd-Frank Act and the EU Conflict Minerals
Regulation pertaining to gold, columbite-tantalite (tantalum), cassiterite (tin) and wolframite (tungsten)
(collectively, the “Conflict Minerals”). Conflict Minerals regulations require companies to monitor their
sourcing activities to understand how these minerals are used in their products and whether those
Conflict Minerals originate from mines located in countries or regions characterized by armed conflict
(e.g., Angola, Burundi, Central African Republic, Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania,
Uganda, Zambia, and other regions where the proceeds of the mining industry fund regional conflicts).
The goal is to prevent the use of profits from Conflict Mineral mining for funding armed conflicts.
Boardriders will not knowingly source Conflict Minerals that directly or indirectly fund armed conflicts
or armed groups. We expect our vendors and suppliers to adopt procedures to meet this same standard.
Vendors and suppliers must also cooperate with Boardriders in responding to any due diligence inquires
we may undertake, including by providing complete and timely responses to surveys and other inquiries.
Thank you for your continued support of our efforts. Please sign and return the Supplier

Sincerely,
