TO: All Boardriders Suppliers
Boardriders, Inc. (“Boardriders”) is dedicated to the sourcing of materials and manufacturing of our
products in a manner that is in accordance with the highest ethical and legal standards. In furtherance of
these standards, Boardriders requires that its vendors comply with the Boardriders Supplier Compliance
Program set out in the Company’s Quiksilver Ethical Standards of Trade (“QUEST”), which mandates,
among other things, compliance with world-wide labor laws and forbids forced or compulsory labor
manufacturing, discrimination and illegal child labor.
Boardriders is aware of the reports of widespread use of forced and child labor in the harvesting and
production of cotton in certain countries and regions of the world, such as Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan,
and will not condone or knowingly support such practices. Accordingly, Boardriders’ suppliers, licensees
and vendors must not use, nor permit the factories producing on their behalf, to use, fabric, yarn or trims
made from cotton grown in Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan or other countries or regions suspected of using
forced or child labor for such production.
This policy will maintain in effect until such time that independent verification is available reliably
confirming that cotton in these countries and regions is no longer harvested using forced or child labor.
Failure to strictly comply with this policy will result in corrective actions taken by Boardriders, which may
include termination of the business relationship.
Thank you for your continued support of our efforts. Please sign and return the Supplier
Acknowledgement below confirming you have read and understand the policy and that your company will
fully comply with the policy.
Sincerely,
Boardriders Senior Management
